Federated Logistics was founded in March of 1998 to serve the Detroit Metro Airport air and ocean freight forwarders. Our services included local pick up and delivery within the tri-county area of Detroit as well as "hot shot" expedited services.

In early 1999, Federated expanded the operation by adding tractor trailers to our fleet to service the "just in time?needs of some major vendors to the automotive industry. Federated added warehousing to our service resume when we moved into a 25000 square foot building in Romulus, MI.

In late 2000, Federated entered into the 3rd party logistics industry. We added an office in Grand Rapids, MI to service West Michigan accounts as well as running the 3rd party logistics department.
